Our foundation

Four marks that identify Grace.

    A self-governing local church accountable to Jesus Christ.

  2. Fundamental

    Holding the historic fundamentals of the faith without apology.

  3. Mission-minded

    Carrying the Gospel across our community and around the world.

  4. KJV Only

    The only English Bible Grace uses and supports—preached plainly in every service.

Our position on Scripture

Why we use only the King James Version.

Grace Baptist Church believes the Bible is the inspired, preserved, and final authority for faith and practice. Because God’s words are pure and enduring, we do not treat the biblical text as uncertain or interchangeable. We believe the King James Version faithfully gives English-speaking people the preserved Word of God. Therefore, it is the only English Bible version Grace uses and supports in preaching, teaching, and public ministry.

  1. Inspired by God

    The Bible’s authority comes from God Himself—not from a church, preacher, translator, or human tradition. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God.”

  2. Preserved for every generation

    God did not give His Word only to allow it to disappear. We believe He has preserved His words and that English-speaking people possess those preserved words in the King James Bible.

  3. Proclaimed plainly

    Holding to an unchanging Bible does not remove the preacher’s responsibility to make its meaning clear. The text should be read distinctly, explained in context, and applied plainly so that people can understand and obey God’s Word.

Jesus Christ is the heart of what we believe.

The Gospel declares that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again according to the Scriptures. Salvation is God's gift, received by grace through faith in Christ—not earned by works.

The Bible

01The Holy ScripturesThe preserved Word of God is our final authority for faith and practice.

We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God, without error, wholly trustworthy, and the final authority for faith and practice. We believe God has preserved His Word for English-speaking people in the King James Bible. Grace Baptist Church therefore uses and supports only the King James Version in English throughout its preaching, teaching, and public ministry. We are committed to reading it distinctly, explaining it faithfully, and preaching it plainly.

God

02The GodheadOne true God eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Each Person is fully divine, equal in nature and perfection, and worthy of the same worship and obedience.

03Jesus ChristThe eternal Son became man, died for our sins, rose bodily, and will return.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary. He lived without sin, gave Himself as the substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, rose bodily from the grave, ascended to heaven, and will return personally.

04The Holy SpiritThe Holy Ghost convicts, regenerates, indwells, seals, and empowers believers.

We believe the Holy Ghost is a divine Person, equal with the Father and the Son. He reproves the world of sin, gives new life to those who believe, permanently indwells and seals every believer, and enables God's people for holy living and service.

Humanity & salvation

05Man and SinEvery person bears God's image, yet every person is a sinner in need of salvation.

We believe God created mankind in His image. Through Adam's disobedience sin entered the world, bringing physical and spiritual death; therefore every person is a sinner by nature and by choice and stands accountable before God.

06SalvationSalvation is God's free gift, received by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone.

We believe salvation is entirely by God's grace through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not earned through works, ordinances, or church membership. Every person who repents and trusts Christ is born again and receives everlasting life.

07Eternal SecurityThose truly born again are kept by God's power and secure in Christ.

We believe every genuine believer is eternally secure. Salvation begins with God, rests in the finished work of Christ, and is kept by the power of God; no created thing can separate the believer from His love.

08Christian Living & Biblical SeparationBelievers are called to holiness, spiritual growth, and a life set apart unto God.

We believe Christians should yield themselves to God, grow through His Word, and pursue lives that honor Jesus Christ. Biblical separation means turning from teaching and practices that oppose Scripture while showing truth, grace, and compassion to people.

The local church

09The Local ChurchA local church is an autonomous assembly of baptized believers under Christ.

We believe the New Testament church is a local, visible congregation of baptized believers joined together for worship, doctrine, fellowship, the ordinances, and the Great Commission. Each church is self-governing and directly accountable to Jesus Christ, its Head.

10BaptismBeliever's baptism by immersion pictures identification with Christ.

We believe baptism is for those who have personally trusted Jesus Christ and is properly administered by immersion in water. It is an act of obedience and a public picture of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection; it does not save.

11The Lord's SupperThe church remembers Christ's sacrifice through this memorial ordinance.

We believe the Lord's Supper is a memorial ordinance given to the local church. Believers partake of bread and the fruit of the vine in remembrance of Christ's body and blood, examining themselves and looking forward to His return.

12Missions & EvangelismEvery believer and local church shares responsibility for carrying the Gospel.

We believe Christ commissioned His church to preach the Gospel to every person, baptize believers, and teach them His Word. Grace seeks to witness locally, support worldwide missions, and help establish faithful churches.

Home & eternity

13The Christian FamilyGod established marriage and the home as enduring gifts for His glory.

We believe marriage is the lifelong union of one man and one woman, established by God. Husbands and wives are to reflect Christlike love and faithfulness, and parents are to bring up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

14The Second ComingJesus Christ will return personally for His saints and reign as King.

We believe in the personal, imminent, pre-tribulation return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His church (the Rapture) and in His visible return after the Tribulation to establish His millennial kingdom. This blessed hope should encourage faithful, watchful living.

15Heaven and HellEvery person will exist eternally, either with God or under final judgment.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, the everlasting blessedness of believers with God in heaven, and the conscious everlasting punishment of the unsaved in hell and the lake of fire.

Doctrine should be heard—and lived.
